Susan is a culinary arts graduate of NSCC Marconi Campus. After years of experience in restaurant and hotel kitchens she now works at Meals on Wheels and A Better Bite Community Kitchen located in Sydney, NS.
Susan’s main prerogative is to gather people together with her cooking. She loves to promote intuitive eating and practices a plant based diet, although her cooking ability has a wide range. Recently, her interests have evolved through foraging plants and working with local farms to get the highest quality and most unique flavours available in her region.

Susan will be creating for us a custom food experience inspired by the spring equinox and the event theme of renewal, rebirth and fresh energy. Drawing on Susan’s knowledge of nutrition, the seven chakra colours, and complementary flavours, the snack and lunch courses will be not only delicious but vegan and gluten-free!
